This two-day course examines the advantages of using Equation Engine as a method to specify rules or equations as part of your business process. The course explains how you can use an equation to add your own logic to a process using standard programming constructs. It provides an overview for how Equation Engine works within the Student Financials and Financial Aid applications.
Participants learn Equation Engine language constructs, architecture and security. Equation examples delivered in the system are discussed and analyzed. Participants modify equations and write and test new equations as part of this course.
