PeopleSoft Internet Architecture allows your users to access PeopleSoft Content over the internet. But, did you know that other systems can also access your PeopleSoft data over the Internet? In this 5 day hands on, instructor lead course we'll show you how to provide Real-time (synchronous) and near-real time Integration (Asynchronous) integration between your PeopleSoft system and some other system. This course will look at the numerous options now available to a PeopleSoft developer to exchange, validate and transform information between any two systems. It will provide a ground-up understanding of data integration in your PeopleSoft system. The Application Engine tool provides a batch solution to manage the data in a PeopleSoft database. You will learn to use Application Engine to execute existing programs, to modify programs and create new Application Engine programs. You will utilize SQL, PeopleCode and flow controls as tools and techniques to solve business-based batch processing requirements. Many hands on activities will give the participant plenty of practical strategies for solving real-world issues.
