In the BPA responsibility portion of this course, participants display, create, update, disable, enable, save, delete, and monitor business processes in Enterprise Planning and Budgeting (EPB). Participants work with the components of the business processes, validate business processes, and make business processes effective. Students define a data collection process using the data collection tasks and monitor the status of templates and worksheets. Participants learn how to customize, distribute, and submit templates. Participants work with controlled calculations and identify the functionality of a Controller responsibility.
In the Security Administrator responsibility portion of this ILT course, participants learn how to access EPB data, create new user accounts in Oracle Applications, and add the new user accounts to EPB. Participants create, maintain, and view data Ownership, Write, and Read access rules. Participants also scope metadata and assign privileges to controlled calculations. Students expire EPB responsibilities and accounts in Oracle Application and re-assign an expired account to a current user. Finally, students describe the functionality of Shadows, assign, update, use, and delete Shadows.
