The course uses a service company with manufacturing components as an example throughout. Exercises using either an experiential simulation or an assembly and packaging company case study for every applicable module provide the opportunity to apply what participants have just learned. This course is for service and manufacturing companies and can include administrative processes as well. Participants will be able to apply Lean concepts, principles, and tools at the conclusion of this course. The course is designed to "boost" a company's Six Sigma efforts by skilling participants to begin to conduct projects using Lean.
